Ferry

We took this ferry across from Seattle to the Olympia peninsula. It cost us $11.55 for our vehicle and $6.75 for a second adult (I don't know if the kids were free, or they just didn't notice them). On the return trip we only paid $11.55. We noticed a man feeding Cheetos to the seagulls and the kids wanted to try it. We bought a tiny bag of Cheetos for $1.50. Very expensive, for a few Cheetos, but the kids (and seagulls) loved it! They would throw the Cheetos into the air and the seagulls would catch them. Alex was able to get one to grab it out of his hand, but I wasn't quick enough to get the picture.

Your children are so well behaved, they must not have noticed them!!!! How long was the ferry ride?

The ferry took about 30 minutes to cross. We took a different ferry on the return trip (Betsy directed us to this one) and it took a little longer and we ended up about 20 miles north of Seattle.

Your ferry travel photos look good. I am planning to go on a short weekend break along with my family. Places I plan to visit include france, belgium etc. We have booked our ferry tickets from Dover. Need to plan out things perfectly. Any suggestions regarding cheap ferries?

Nice snaps! Making plans to go for France on holiday by cheap ferries. Could you recommend me availability of any car ferries?
