We had to cross a lot of driftwood to get to the beach. The logs were big, all tangled together, and covered in frost, but it was definitely worth the effort. We did use a log for a tripod for getting a family picture, but the rising tide was quicker than we were. You can just imagine how excited Karen was at this point!
