Grandma Addy

The picture of Addy and her kids was taken at Christmas and the last picture is of Grandma and Sophie's hands. Grandma we miss you and will love you always! Say Hi to Grandpa Jack for us.

Easter at Grandma Janet's

The kids had fun finding their baskets. Sam and Sophie found theirs quickly, but Emily and Alex took quite a while. Emily's was in the garage in a cooler. Janet, Joan and Karen actually set chairs up to watch Alex find his.

Sam and Wes

Sam and Wes love to play together. Here they were throwing the little plastic soldiers at each other while wearing Easter baskets on their heads. In the second picture, if you look carefully, you can see one soldier in mid-air between them.

Coloring Eggs!

Soft Hands

Aahh! Dipping your hands in hot paraffin wax feels SO GOOD! At least that's what Karen says.

Jazz Band

Alex was asked to join Jazz Band and this was his first performance at the Spagetti Feed. They play while we eat spagetti as a fundraiser for a band trip.

Sophie Dancing

Sophie loves to dance!

Early Easter

We celebrated Easter at Mom and Dad's on Sunday. Dad hides each of the kids baskets and then Don and I hid eggs for the kids to find. We had the egg hunt inside this year. Each kid could find 12 eggs and they each was filled with a quarter.

Go Green, or Go Home!

We celebrate St. Patricks Day at Janet's each year. She dresses up and continues the tradition of dubbing that her Dad started years ago. Grandma Addy is holding Jack's picture.

Maddie Getting Dubbed!

Grandma Janet dubs us each 100% Irish until March 17. As you get older, she is not nearly as gentle.

Back On The Bike

It was a beautiful day here! The high temperature was 43 and after school Sam thought he should be able to go outside without a coat. We compromised on a vest. He pulled out the bike, but there is snow/slush over most of the driveway, so he didn't go very far.

Dr. Seuss Birthday

At Campbell-Tintah, our elementary classes always celebrate Dr. Seuss's Birthday (K-6 grade get the last hour off for cake and juice). This year Alex read "Ten Apples Up On Top" to the K - 2nd graders and he wore the hat that Mom made for him last year. The last picture is of Sam's Kindergarten class.

Happy Birthday Mrs. C!

Happy Birthday Alana! I know some people are sensative about age, so I won't say how old you are.

Freeloaders Skiing!

We went skiing with Joan and Wade at Wild Mountain on March 2. They each take their phy. ed. classes there during the year and Wild Mountain has an appreciation day when they can bring their family to ski free. We were all able to ski and rent for free. Thank you Joan and Wade! We decided that since the price was right, we should bring Sophie, Maddie and Wes skiing. They are each three and they had a great time! The next post is a video of Sophie skiing (and giggling). The temperature was warm so nobody got cold, but by the end it started to rain/drizzle a little. Sophie was tuckered out and fell asleep within a couple of minutes after getting in the car. Thanks again Joan and Wade, it was a great day!

Sophie Skiing!

Sophie had a blast skiing, especially in the afternoon! She giggled all the way down each run!

Skating at Joan's

On March 1 we went skating at Joan and Wade's. They have a rink they keep shoveled on the canal. It was fun to skate again, it had been a long time. After skating we warmed up by the campfire.
